With the closure of the FWA Academy, it was deemed that a very select few fighters would continue their training & development. These elite athletes we picked from many due to their attitude and work ethic. These will be the faces of the future. Their training regime is unlike any other school/camp in the UK with training to become professional wrestlers like professional athletes.

There is 8 positions available at the Portsmouth based facility. If one of these places become available then we will take applications but you should be under no illusion these are serious athletes with serious goals. There are many training schools around the UK but very few have the credentials and history of the former FWA Academy.

Simply put If you want to become a wrestler to say you are, then find somewhere else to train, if you want to become a professional wrestler and are serious about becoming one of the top competitors in Europe and will actively train with that goal in mind then there is a possibility you may have what it takes to join our group. There is no second chances here, we closed the FWA Academy because of the influx of poor attitudes of prospective new students . We will continue to concentrate on producing the very best students in Europe and contact details will appear once a position is available.

  Jamie Brum
Brum made a thunderous start to his career  with an excellent outing against Alex Shane in 2004. A year later he took a hiatus to rejuvenate his attitude and drive and returned to action at the FWA:A in late 2005 and has displayed all of the attributes that had many tip him for the top back in 2003. Jamie is one of the most dedicated students to pass through the FWA A and sports a decent physique and will continue to push forward going in 2007, a must see prospect.

Wade Fitzgerald
The single most dedicated student to ever step foot in the FWA Academy without question. At only 17 years old his drive and determination has made him infamous at the FWA:A, sporting a mini Herculean physique and a sponge like attitude, Fitzgerald will become a star and he is prepared to bide his time and complete his destiny. His small stature will mean Wade is a prospect for the future and being a national Tae Kwon Do champion and a qualified fitness coach will only serve to enhance his quest to become the best....

  Ollie Burns
Already working around the country partnering Mark Sloan and helping to revitalize the flagging tag scene in the UK. This dedicated character studies wrestling like a religion and is always improving his knowledge of the business. Burns is a charismatic mat technician and was one of the top FWA:A students and at only 18 already has years of experience behind him. Working for just about every major UK group aside from All Star Promotions has helped season Burns into somewhat of a can't miss prospect.

Joel Redman
Originally staring off with the FWA Academy on a few weekend training camps, Redman would then train with the UK Kid and gain his start in British Wrestling. Redman has all the tools to make a huge impact on the UK scene. He has crafted an impressive body already and is keen to dedicate more to bodybuilding and training to achieve everything he is capable of, it wouldn't surprise many if many promotions are ready to make Redman the star he is going to be.

  Harry Mills
The end of 2006 has seen a transformation of Harry Mills, a fun loving prankster finally got serious and a change in attitude and increased effort means Mills is well on his way to becoming the competitor he is destined to become. A naturally gifted athlete with a great look and fantastic character with the right amount of exposure could become an excellent addition to any roster as his run with 1PW is showing. Mills has all the tools to make himself a major career and now its time to put it all together

Mark Haskins
On the surface it would appear that Mark Haskins doesn't deserve the position he is currently holding. Due to an injury to Dan James in mid '06, Haskins lucked into major matches in the FWA:A Cage Matches and 1PW at their One Year Anniversary show. Upon closer inspection it would appear that Haskins is every bit as deserving. Having made a near 4 hour journey twice a week just to train, transforming his body in the space of a year and displaying the kind of character skills not normally seen outside the big two in the USA. Haskins is gold.

  Emma Whitney
Simply put Ms Whitney is the hottest female prospect the UK has seen since WWE signee Nikita. A near 3 hour weekly journey has never been more worth it in her mind, the single most dedicated female to ever step foot in the FWA Academy and she is every bit as tough as she is dedicated. Training with the FWA:A students she not only held her own but also gained the respect of all of the fighters to step foot in the same ring. At only 19 years of age, she has the world at her feet and if she can harness half of the potential she has, we'll another WWE bound female from these shores in the future.
Steve Mulldoon
Not a familiar face in the FWA:A but this dedicated Irishman used to fly himself over every week to do a few hours of training with the FWA:A coaches. Never before has anybody been so interested in the entire business. From building the ring to the history of all of the belts. Mulldoon is as talented as he is interested and recently moved to Portsmouth and works 3 jobs just to continue his training and progression into the world of British Wrestling.
